No Good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly

No Good Thing will He Withhold from them that Walk Uprightly

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. (Psalm 84:9-12)

The Lord gives us grace and glory. The Lord gives his anointed kindness and favour, splendour and honour.

The Lord is not withholding any good thing.

The Lord does not deny or hold back good things from those who walk in the truth.

The Lord is not holding back from us!

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (Psalm 35:27)

The Lord has pleasure in our prosperity (welfare, happiness, health, peace, favour, rest, and safety).

God is not withholding or denying blessing from us!

If we are not experiencing the Lord’s blessing it is through our lack of knowledge which causes our actions to be out of step with the Lord:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)

Lack of awareness

2 Peter 1:4 God has given us his precious promises

2 Corinthians 1:20 All the promises are yes and amen in Christ

2 Corinthians 5:21 the Lord has given us his righteousness therefore we qualify.

We must understand the process

Mark 4:26-29

We plant the seed

We water the seed

God causes the seed to grow and bring forth fruit

We harvest the fruit

We plant and water the seed through meditation.

The Lord causes the seed to grow and produce fruit.

We harvest the promises through his spirit by faith (Hebrews 11:6). Faith receives at the moment of prayer (Mark 11:24).

We need to be walking in the spirit to see when the harvest time is. Praying in tongues edifies us spiritually (1 Corinthians 14:4), helping us to see the harvest.

Faith works by love (Galatians 5:6). We need to be walking by love, to harvest the promises.

God is not withholding!

We need to be doing our part to walk with God to receive. If we are off sinning somewhere it is like sleeping through the harvest: he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame (Proverbs 10:5). Sin is like sleeping spiritually. We miss our harvest.

Conclusion

As we walk with the Lord, the Lord will not withhold any good thing. The Lord does not hold back prosperity or healing from us. The Lord delights in our prosperity.

If we are not experiencing the fruit of the promises it is because of our lack of knowledge and understanding how to walk with the Lord.

We plant the seed through meditation.

God causes the increase and fruit.

We harvest the fruit of the seed through faith by the Spirit.

We need to walk in the Spirit, otherwise we may miss the harvest.
