Welcome

Dear partners and friends,

I pray the blessing of Abraham manifests in every area of your life. Read part of the blessing of Abraham (Deuteronomy 28:1-13) and what Christ has redeemed us from (Deuteronomy 28:15-68). Also know that we qualify for the blessings, and redemption from the curses, through faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:13-14). We are in the new and better covenant where faith brings the blessings!

This coming month of November I will be doing considerable face to face preaching and teaching in Cambodia, Malaysia and also some undisclosed locations (due to security). I trust we will be able to continue to advance the Lord's kingdom through planting and watering His precious seeds, by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Bless you, I love you, Andrew.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord

2 Peter 1:2

God's grace is His favor, benefit, gift, liberality, pleasure and gracious act (Strong's Dictionary). To receive God's grace is to receive God's loving power and ability operating in our lives. It is by God's grace that we are saved, through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). Grace is God's loving gifts freely given to us. Notice, however, that grace is received through faith. This implies if we do not have faith we are unable to receive grace. So there is an element of our cooperation to receive grace; it is to ensure we are positioned to be able to exercise faith.

In the above verse in 2 Peter 1:2 God is saying He wants His grace multiplied or increased in our lives. God desires more of His power, favor and ability to be released in our lives, and upon the earth in general. As Jesus prayed; thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). God desires more of His will to manifest in our lives, by His grace.

So how do we cooperate with God to help fulfill Jesus' prayer that God's will be done on earth? Firstly we must understand God's will. God's will is understood through His Word: generally through His written Word and specifically by His Holy Spirit. God's will covers areas of direction, morality (walking in love and resisting sin) and also God's promises. God's promises cover every facet of our lives - spirit, soul and body (including the areas of our relationships, emotions, finances, health and career etc.). In this teaching I will address God's written will in the area of His promises. We help fulfill Jesus' prayer; that God's will be done of earth, by firstly becoming aware of the details of His promises.

2 Peter 1:2 says; grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. The knowledge of God which Peter is referring to is the written promises of God which Jesus our Lord obtained for us. This is made clear in 2 Peter 1:4 which says; whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises. The supernatural power for multiplied grace and peace, and for everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:2-3), is conditional upon us receiving the revelation knowledge of God's written promises. Peter refers to the promises of God in verse four as valuable, honorable, precious, and exceedingly great (Strong's Dictionary). If a particular knowledge of God's Word (the promises) delivers to us multiplied grace (God's power, favor and ability), and everything we need for life and godliness, then these promises are indeed precious, valuable and worthy of our honor.

To honor something is to give it: a high estimation, esteem, respect, an exalted place, reverence and submission to worship, adoration, and to glorify it (Webster's Dictionary). To honor God's promises would be to give them an exalted place in our heart, mind, emotions and imagination. We achieve the honoring of God's promises when we meditate and establish them in our hearts. We succeed in this task when the promises remain the primary focus of our emotions and imagination.

Jesus said "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done". The coming of God's kingdom is the coming, or manifestation, of God's will. Jesus said, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground (Mark 4:26). We assist the process of bringing to pass the establishment of God's kingdom, and His will on earth, through casting seed into the ground. The seed is God's Word (Mark 4:14), and the ground is our hearts (Mark 4:15). As we plant God's promises in our hearts, through meditation, we are doing the work of the kingdom, assisting God's will to be done in our lives.

As we plant and water God's seeds, through meditation, the knowledge of God grows in our hearts. This knowledge of God produces faith, as faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). It is this faith of God which comes from His promises which draws the multiplication of God's grace into our circumstances (Ephesians 2:8).

An essential aspect of the process of establishing God's kingdom and will on earth is to plant the seeds of God's promises in our hearts. As a young Christian I was very zealous for God, but I lacked the knowledge of this teaching concerning multiplication of God's grace. I really tried hard to please God, but my focus was without accurate knowledge of His promises. As a result I experienced a small measure of God's grace. When I shifted my focus to receiving the knowledge of God's promises, through meditation, it wasn't long before I began to experience a multiplication of God's grace.

I have experienced Christianity without focusing on meditation of the promises, and with focusing on meditation of the promises. I can testify to you that a daily focus of meditation on the promises of God has brought a multiplication of God's grace and peace into my life. It makes life so much easier. It changes the Christian experience from being 'hard work' to 'come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest… my yoke is easy and my burden is light' (Matthew 11:28, 30). Is your life and ministry hard work? Are you carrying a heavy burden? Maybe it's time to try Jesus' yoke! Seek first God's kingdom the way Jesus said to do it - to cast seed into the ground. Focus on growing the seeds of God's promises in your heart. You will find God's promises are delightful and full of love. It won't be long before the seed will produce the fruit and you will be experiencing more of the powerful, supernatural realm of God's kingdom. I assure you, once you taste more of the loving goodness of the Lord, which is contained in the promises of His Word, you won't want to go back to a less powerful and less loving Christian experience (Psalm 34:8).

Pray with me; "Father God, thank you that you desire to increase the power and influence of your grace in my life. Thank you that you have already provided everything I will ever need in this life. Thank you that you have revealed to me that the knowledge I need to increase and multiply your powerful grace in my life is contained in your Word; in particular in the seed of your promises. Strengthen me to honor your promises, to plant and grow your seeds through daily, continual meditation. I know as I do this your grace and peace will multiply in my life. I pray this in Jesus Christ name, Amen."
