Welcome

Dear partners and friends,

I am writing this letter from the fascinating and lovely country of Indonesia. Indonesia has approx 13,000 inhabited islands. If we visited a different island every two days it would take more than 70 years to visit every inhabited island in this huge archipelago. Indonesia is indeed a 'world within a world.'

 

I have been very busy preaching and teaching in Indonesia in fellowships, churches, a pastor's leadership seminar, and on the radio. My promise/ meditation book "The Sword of the Spirit" has been re-edited and printed in Indonesia. This last week we have distributed over 100 copies.

 

A review of the year 2010 is included in this letter and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have partnered in the ministry through faith, encouragement, love, grace, financial and logistical support and prayer. Over the course of a year there are hundreds if not thousands of people who have assisted in various capacities, and I thank you all sincerely from my heart.

 

I hear time and time again from pastors and leaders their appreciation of our teaching ministry, especially with regards to the teaching on the importance of planting and watering God's spiritual seed/ promises in our hearts, through meditation. There is no doubt Andrew Shreeve Ministries is planting and watering much of God's precious seed/ promises in the hearts of God's people in many nations, and this labour will bring eternal fruit into God's kingdom; and therefore eternal credit to the account of this ministry, and its partners - well done and thank you.

• Over 1,100 of Andrew's meditation books distributed in Australia, Myanmar, Malaysia, USA and Papua New Guinea.

• Uploads of YouTube video teaching increased from 3,700 to 7,300.

Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap

Galatians 6:7

 

He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully… now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown

2 Corinthians 9:6, 10

So is the kingdom of God, as is a man should cast seed into the ground

Mark 4:26

 

The principles associated with seed are very important to understand when it comes to God's kingdom and life on this planet. Humans, plants and animals all are given life through seed. People are born into God's eternal kingdom through seed (being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God - 1 Peter 1:23). The Word of God is called seed (the sower soweth the Word - Mark 4:14).

 

Seed is the giver of both natural and spiritual life. Money is called seed, as are our actions - both good and evil. Everything we do is a type of seed, every minute of every day we are sowing seeds. Thoughts and imaginations are seeds which give birth to our future reality.

 

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life

Proverbs 4:23

 

The boundaries of our lives are determined by the imaginations of our heart. Our imaginations are cultivated by the repetition of our thoughts, words and actions. This is why the Lord instructs the person whose ambition is to be blessed, successful and prosperous to meditate God's Words/ promises continually day and night (Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:2). Meditation is the process of planting and watering spiritual seeds in the human heart.

 

The Lord says to think on things which are true… honest… just… pure… lovely… good report… virtue… praise - Philippians 4:8. The Lord says to acknowledge every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus - Philemon 1:6. The Lord says that we will prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth - 3 John 2. We continually see the bible referring to our words, thoughts, and imaginations as determining our future and success. This is because our words, thoughts and imaginations are all seeds which ultimately manifest into our actions and lives.

 

When I realized the imaginations of my heart would determine my future life, and that I could change my heart (spirit and soul - which includes my emotions and mind), I decided the most important thing in life was to fill my heart with God's covenant promises - God's covenant seed! That was one of the best realizations and decisions of my life. My experience is that the seed of God's promises, faithfully meditated in my heart, produces the fruit of what it promises into my natural world. This is awesome and powerful! Spiritual seed produces natural results!

 

It should not surprise us that God's spiritual seed/ Word has the power to change our natural world, as this natural world was created by God's Word/ seed (Hebrews 11:3). All things natural, including the health of our bodies and our finances, are subject to the creator - God's Word (John 1:1-3). The bible is God's seed book, given to us to help us live a successful and prosperous life of earth, to bring forth fruit for the Lord's kingdom. We will not successfully bring forth fruit for the Lord is we neglect planting and watering the Lord's seeds (covenant promises) in our heart every day.

 

Pray with me: Father God, thank you for the revelation of the power of seed. Thank you, you have given me many powerful spiritual seeds/ covenant promises, which I will diligently plant and water in my heart. Thank you that these Godly seeds will change my natural life to conform to your will. Thank you, you have given me the means to prosper supernaturally through your eternal Word. I love and bless you in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
