Singapore - October 2017

1st November 2017

During October we ministered in two churches and to various individuals in Singapore. We further developed and strengthened the long term relationships with 'River of Life Community Church', and the more recent 'Bible Mission Church', which is an Indian Telugu speaking church affiliated with the two million strong Bible Mission in India.

I will be returning to Singapore in November to be faculty and a speaker at the Bible Mission annual conference, which is for pastors and leaders from seven to ten nations around Singapore.

During my time in Singapore I read the book 'Soul Winning' by T. L. Osborn which impressed upon me that the church international has largely lost the focus of being a 'witness' of the resurrected Christ to the unbelieving world. Osborn makes the point that our primary task as Christians is to 'witness' to the lost the truth that Jesus has risen from the dead and eternal salvation can only be found through faith in Jesus Christ. Osborn also stresses that miracle signs will accompany, and confirm, the truth of our testimony and our witness of Christ, provided we pray for the sick through the laying on of our hands.

I also was lead to the website http://www.joshuaproject.net which I understand is the leading global website detailing the unfinsihed task of the church to reach all people groups in the world with the witness of the gospel (Matthew 24:14). Jesus will not return until we finish the great commission, which He entrusted to the church, to preach the gospel to every distinct ethnic group in the world.

I am thinking and praying about giving priority to those Christian churches which are strategic to complete Jesus' global mission of reaching all ethnic groups in the world with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Lord bless you, with love, Andrew

Myanmar - August / September 2017

13th September 2017

We recently concluded a very successful mission to the nation of Burma / Myanmar. The mission included three, 3-day seminars in different cities, including the capital city of Nay Pyi Taw. We also conducted four, Sunday church services and one mid week church service.

The Word of the Lord was enthusiastically received with invitations to return to all places in the future. We revealed the revelation that to seek first the kingdom of God is to ensure the Words of the King dominate our mind and imagination. In particular, the honourable and precious promises of God's covenants. We taught that this is achieved through the process of biblical meditation where spiritual seed is received and cultivated in our hearts. The senior pastors had never understood this biblcal truth before and were greatly encouraged that they could receive more of the Lord's power to ease their sufferring.

In addition to the face-to-face preaching and teaching we distributed 246 copies of my Scriptural meditation book "The Sword of the Spirit" translated into the Burmese language. This book is an invaluable tool to assist meditation as, in addition to teaching how to meditate, it includes 200 of the Scripture's best promises categorized under topic headings for easy access to plant and grow the spiritual seed in our hearts.

We also conducted extensive prayer ministry, anointing many with oil and praying for physical healing and the baptism and outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

It was truly a blessed time. I extend my thanks to those churches, and individuals, from various countries who supported this mission in prayer. The Lord bless you.

With love, Andrew

Japan - June / July 2017

13th July 2017

Praise the Lord for a wonderful and anointed ministry in Japan. You may listen to the seven teachings we gave by going to andrewshreeve.org / teaching - audio / Japanese / and look for the teaching titles ending in 2017. The teaching includes a clear explanation of what the Lord requires from us to be guaranteed, 100%, a joyous entrance into heaven when we die; and what is the unforgivable sin, or the sin unto death.

The teaching and preaching ministry was very well received. Two ladies at different times came forward to pray to place their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to receive the remission of their sins and the gift of eternal life. We baptised one of the ladies in water. She was really filled with the joy and peace of the Holy Spirit.

In the final meeting in Osaka the Lord gave a sign to confirm the truth of His Word (Mark 16:20). A lady who had been suffering with severe pain from a kidney stone was instantly healed whilst listening to the preaching. In that same service we prayed for a man with a deaf ear, and he indicated immediate improvement in his hearing in that ear.

We also felt the need to do more, to win the Japanese people to the Lord Jesus. We felt that a good initial goal is to work towards increasing the Japanese born again population to 20 million. Presently, only about 2% of the 126 million Japanese people identify as Christians. Will you join your faith with ours to pray the Lord will give wisdom to the church, and the resources and labourers, to achieve this goal?

The Lord bless you,

with love,

Andrew
